Jesus: Pioneer and Perfecter
11/17/24
The Lord was wonderfully present as we worshipped Jesus and prayed for the sick. Pastor Jason encouraged us to persevere in faith by looking to Jesus and his cross--our ultimate example of faith and endurance. We ended with receiving communion.
One Breath Away
11/10/24
The Lord moved powerfully as we worshipped Jesus, received communion and simply agreed with the Lord, speaking life over what is dead. We’re just one breath away from the Lord changing everything.
Jesus: The Power and Wisdom of God
11/3/24
Jason Saglimbeni shows us that Jesus is the power and the wisdom of God. While the world, and even the church, are looking for signs and searching for wisdom, they can only be found in Christ and him crucified. There are no other signs, there is no other power, there is no greater wisdom than the Son of the Highest giving his life. In a world pulling us in a thousand different directions, will we resolve to know nothing except Jesus, the crucified Christ? Oh how the church and our nation need to return to the cross. Only there will demonstrations of the Spirit’s power be found: in Christ and him crucified.
Ask, Seek, Knock
10/27/24
Jason Saglimbeni shows us how much Jesus values prayer—he models it, teaches it and defends it. Jesus not only taught us what to pray, but how pray: continually with bold persistence. Intensity is good, consistency is better. He promises that if we ask, seek and knock, the Father will give us more of the Holy Spirit.
Rivers of Living Water
10/20/24
Jason Saglimbeni shows us Jesus’ invitation to come to him and drink. In doing so, rivers of living water will flow from within us. We explore how the prophesy given by Ezekiel about water flowing from the temple and bringing life everywhere it goes becomes a reality in what Jesus says. This is simple, yet profound—a drink becomes a river—the Spirit giving life to us and those around us. Oh how we need the Holy Spirit. Come and drink!
Worship In the Spirit and In Truth
10/13/24
Jason Saglimbeni shows us how simple conversations with Jesus can lead to greater revelation of who he is. Greater revelation should lead to greater worship. Jesus shows us when to worship, what type of worshipper we should be and that the Father is actually looking for worshippers in this way. Will he find one when he sees you?
Holy, Holy, Holy
10/6/24
This podcast episode is different from our normal Sunday messages. The Lord was moving in the room, so we never got to the prepared message. However, Jason Saglimbeni shared a word from the Lord. Keep in mind there may be moments of waiting/worship during this episode, so we encourage you to use that time to seek the Lord as you listen. May our hearts be tender and responsive to what Jesus is doing.
In View of God's Mercy
9/29/24
Jason Saglimbeni shows us the mercy of God found in Jesus. God says that he will have mercy on who he will have mercy—he alone decides. So, who will he have mercy on? Everyone! God’s mercy allows us to know him in a way we otherwise wouldn’t. We must see God’s mercy rightly to respond to him rightly. The right response is laying down our lives for Jesus every day—a continual sacrifice. This is the foundation for all other expressions of worship.
Jesus: The New and Living Way
9/22/24
Jason Saglimbeni shows us Jesus: the new and living way. What the law was powerless to do, what people were powerless to do, Jesus came and once for all became the sacrifice for sins, making us holy. This gives us all-access to the presence of the Lord. Nothing else—only the blood and body of Jesus are the way into the Most Holy Place. Now, Jesus is inviting us in, welcoming us to draw near to him by the new and living way: Jesus.
The Good Samaritan
9/15/24
Larry Caddell talks about the Good Samaritan. True mercy always leads to action. We don’t just go to church, we are the church. Since God made a difference in us, we should make a difference for others. Who are you investing in right now?
Justification by Faith
9/8/24
Michael Boucher shows us that we are justified by faith. That means we can only have a right relationship with God through faith in the sacrificial death of Jesus. Jesus alone is righteous and our righteousness comes from having faith in his finished work. No amount of works or good deeds can earn you a relationship with God, only Jesus does that for us. Our job is to have faith in him.
Vision Sunday
9/1/24
Vision Sunday: Jason and Jessica Saglimbeni share what the Lord is doing and saying at Praise Cathedral. This message includes miraculous testimonies, prophetic words, vision for where Jesus is leading us and what our response should be regarding those things.
Jesus: The Only Foundation
8/25/24
Jason Saglimbeni shows us that we’re building a life with Jesus. This life must be built with care and only on the foundation of who Jesus is and what he has done. Everything we build in our lives must be in alignment with God’s heart, for it is the only material that will endure through the fire of judgement. All other material not in alignment with Jesus will burn away. In fact, we are the temple being built—a place for the Lord to dwell.
Jesus: Sign of Jonah
8/18/24
Jason Saglimbeni talks about the greatest sign Jesus ever preformed. The Pharisees asked Jesus to show them a sign, yet Jesus said he would only show the the sign of Jonah. This is the primary sign that reveals Jesus’ heart, love, mercy, power and beauty—for the sign of Jonah is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. Seeing the sign of Jonah helps us know Jesus, trust Jesus and worship Jesus. We don’t need any other signs to reveal who God is and what he’s done.
Jesus: One with the Father
8/11/24
Jason Saglimbeni shows us that when Jesus came, he had two primary purposes: To redeem us and to reveal the Father. Jesus is the full and final revelation of God, not only in his time, but for all time. All scripture, doctrine, theology and study must lead us to Jesus himself. If we want to see God, we must look to Jesus. If the God we see doesn’t look like Jesus, we’re looking at the wrong thing. Consuming the word of God and asking the Holy Spirit to give you revelation of Jesus are primary ways we can know the Lord.
Go and Make
8/4/24
Larry Caddell shows us that Jesus was often going. We are also called to go, to be missionaries (some local, some foreign) and make disciples. God can use hard times to shake us into going where people need the gospel. Are you willing to go and point people to Jesus?
The Distinguishing Factor (2nd edition)
7/28/24
Jason Saglimbeni leads us through Exodus 33. The Lord promised Moses and the Israelites victory, angelic activity and a land of abundance that they could call home. Yet Moses refused to go without the presence of the Lord—he knew that the distinguishing factor of his people had to be God’s presence—it was non-negotiable. The American church has more buildings, programs and resources than ever, but do we have God’s presence more than ever? The presence of the Lord must become the distinguishing factor of our lives, families and gatherings.
Jesus: Our First Love
7/21/24
Jason Saglimbeni walks us through the letter to the church in Ephesus from Revelation 2. In a church that seems to function well on the outside, Jesus addresses a heart issue of extreme importance—something the American church can relate to well. Jesus calls the church to repent and return to her first love. Jesus call to repent is actually an invitation to come close to him. This has been the Lord’s call to his people through many writers of scripture from the kings and prophets, from John the Baptist to Jesus himself. Why would we think the message has changed?
Special Prayer for the United States
7/14/24
This service is different because instead of our regular teaching, the Lord was doing something special in the house. The Holy Spirit was leading us to welcome him, heal the sick and pray for our nation. Because of that, our pastor didn’t speak from what he prepared. As you watch or listen, we encourage you to welcome the Holy Spirit in your life, family, home and church. We encourage you to believe for physical healing for you and your family. We also encourage you to seek the Lord for another great move of God in our nation, for Jesus is our only hope.
Deny Yourself
7/7/24
Larry Caddell talks about Jesus’ command to deny ourselves. Jesus makes it clear, if we want to follow him, this is a non-negotiable. In a culture that is all about ourselves—from getting what we want when we want, to expressing our feelings even to the detriment of others—Jesus is calling us to something greater.
Our Need & Jesus Desire
6/30/24
Jason Saglimbeni shows us our need and Jesus desire. Jesus said some things to the church in Laodicea that were hard to hear, yet he said those things so that he could dwell with them. They had no obvious sin, yet there indifference kept them from the presence of Jesus. The American church can learn a lot from what Jesus said to this church in Revelation 3. Our greatest need is Jesus, and his greatest desire is to be with us. Oh that we would see, repent and open the door!
Revelation of Jesus
6/23/24
Jason Saglimbeni shows us the importance of receiving revelation of Jesus. Of all the things we want to know, we should want to know Jesus the most. This requires God showing us what we otherwise wouldn’t know. Jesus and Peter’s interactions in Matthew 16:13-28 show us that revelation of Jesus is spiritual—we can’t do it apart from him; progressive—it’s a lifelong journey; and necessary—it’s required to grow in our relationship with Jesus.
Faith Defined
6/16/24
Larry Caddell continues to talk about faith. What is faith and why is it important? Faith is essential to following Jesus because without faith it is impossible to please God. Learn more about this topic as we look at Hebrews 11 and what God says about faith.
Coming To Jesus Moment: Part 2
6/9/24
Larry Caddell continues to talk about having faith for what you need. Faith always looks like something because faith that has no evidence is not faith. When we have faith, Jesus may not give us what we think we need, but what we truly need.
Coming To Jesus Moment
6/2/24
Larry Caddell talks about having faith for what you need. Faith always looks like something because faith that has no evidence is not faith. When we have faith, Jesus may not give us what we think we need, but what we truly need.
Jesus: One Found Worthy
5/26/24
Jason Saglimbeni takes us through Revelation 4 and 5. This portion of scripture highlights Jesus worth and what our response to that should be: wholehearted, unceasing worship. Worship is not merely a tradition we follow, it is a response to seeing Jesus rightly. Many things may happen when we worship, but there is only one reason why we worship: Jesus is worthy. As you listen to this message, ask the Holy Spirit to show you Jesus’ worth in a greater way.
Keep the Fire Burning
5/19/24
Jason Saglimbeni teaches the value of consistency in our relationship with the Holy Spirit. Scripture shows us that the Lord provides the fire, but we are responsible to keep the fire burning. Everyday small moments with the Lord are actually big moments that build a life in God’s presence. We shouldn’t allow distractions or complacency to keep us from being sensitive to God’s presence in our daily life.
Rebuilding David's Tent
5/12/24
Jason Saglimbeni guides us through what David did after bringing back the ark. Was it good enough just to have it in their possession? How did they treat the presence of God? What did David establish as a response to God’s presence in their midst? What does that have to do with us all these thousands of years later? Through this story, we see God’s desire and God’s design for his church now, all the way through eternity.
Bringing Back the Ark: Celebration & Resolve
5/5/24
Jason Saglimbeni continues to sound the call to bring back the ark. What does that mean? A call to prioritize and centralize the presence of God in our lives, homes, gatherings and city. In this message, we continue to learn from David some of the ways to cultivate God’s presence in our lives: celebration and resolve. May we celebrate in the process and have the resolve to worship, no matter what others may say or do. Have you become so dignified that you’ve forgotten how to celebrate before the Lord?
Bringing Back the Ark: Reverence & Sacrifice
4/28/24
Jason Saglimbeni continues to sound the call to bring back the ark. What does that mean? A call to prioritize and centralize the presence of God in our lives, homes, gatherings and city. In this message, we continue to learn from David some of the ways to cultivate God’s presence in our lives: reverence and sacrifice. Without these two things in place, we’re limiting how close to God we can be. Are we willing to revere God enough to make the necessary sacrifices that bring more of his presence in our lives?
Bringing Back the Ark: Desire & Preparation
4/21/24
Jason Saglimbeni continues to sound the call to bring back the ark. What does that mean? A call to prioritize and centralize the presence of God in our lives, homes, gatherings and city. In this message we see the difference between God’s salvation and God’s promises. His salvation is all him—we can’t add anything to Jesus’ work to be saved. Yet, his promises are often conditional—they depend on our obedience to him. As we pursue God’s presence, we must learn from David’s mistakes and do things God’s way in order to successfully bring back the ark.
Bringing Back the Ark: Man's Way vs. God's Way
4/14/24
Jason Saglimbeni continues to sound the call to bring back the ark. What does that mean? A call to prioritize and centralize the presence of God in our lives, homes, gatherings and city. In this message we see that despite great leadership and good intentions, we must do things God’s way. Man’s way takes us further from God, while God’s way takes us further into his presence. As we bring back the ark, will we inquire of the Lord? Will we search the scriptures to pursue God on his terms? Or will we go our own way when things get tough?
Bringing Back the Ark: Israel, David & the Church
4/7/24
Jason Saglimbeni sounds the call to bring back the ark. What does that mean? A call to prioritize and centralize the presence of God in our lives, homes, gatherings and city. In this message we see similar struggles between Israel’s history and the American church today. We also see the similar desire and calling between the heart of David and how God is moving in the church today. As David did, may we bring back the ark.
Becoming God's Dwelling Place: God's Heart To Be With Us
3/31/24
Jason Saglimbeni continues to establish the foundation for becoming God’s dwelling place. This week, we see God’s heart to be with us through the cross. Knowing the end from the beginning, he still created us and died for us, just to be with us. There is nothing that reveals God’s love for us like the cross. God desires a dwelling place and of all the places he could have chosen, he chose us. The death and resurrection of Jesus made the way for us to become God’s dwelling place.
Becoming God's Dwelling Place: A Holy Priesthood
3/24/24
Jason Saglimbeni continues to establish the foundation for becoming God’s dwelling place. This week, we see that God is building a spiritual house—a place where he can dwell. Learn about your role as a priest and how you can be part of what is in God’s heart. From the past, to the present, to eternity, we are all called to be a holy priesthood who minister to the Lord.
Becoming God's Dwelling Place: The Greatest Commandment
3/17/24
Jason Saglimbeni continues to establish the foundation for becoming God’s dwelling place. This week, we look at the first and greatest commandment: love God with everything. If we don’t get this right, we don’t get anything right. Although connected, loving God is a distinct command from loving people. Since this is the most important thing we can do with our lives, what does loving God directly look like? Jesus tells us how we can show him and how he receives much love in Luke 7. This is a blueprint for the way God desires for us to love him. This is imperative to becoming God’s dwelling place because it can’t be driven by accomplishment, but only by love.
Becoming God's Dwelling Place: Week 2
3/10/24
This message is different from our normal Sunday messages. God was moving in the room, so we never got to the prepared message. However, Jason and Kate Saglimbeni share some words from the Lord. Keep in mind there are moments of waiting during this video, so we encourage you to use that time to seek the Lord as you watch. May our hearts be tender and responsive to what he is saying.
Becoming God's Dwelling Place
3/3/24
Jason and Jessica Saglimbeni establish the foundation for becoming God’s dwelling place. God doesn’t change, his original intention is his eternal intention. From Genesis to Revelation, we can see God’s desire to dwell with people. Learn the difference between God’s omni-presence and his manifest-presence. While he is here, he desires to come close. The God who is everywhere desires to manifest somewhere. What would it look like if everything we did welcomed, attracted and cultivated God’s manifest presence in our lives, homes and church?
Wake Up and Pray
2/25/24
Jason Saglimbeni talks about Jesus’ call to wake up and pray. Entertainment and convenience may have lulled us to sleep in the place of prayer, but just like in Gethsemane, Jesus is waking up his church once again. Prioritizing staying close to Jesus in prayer sustains us in the place of prayer when we don’t get the outcome we wanted. We must value his presence and being faithful above getting the results we want.
Salt and Light: Part 3
2/18/24
Larry Caddell continues to talk about salt and light. Jesus said that we are salt and light, yet that doesn’t automatically happen. It’s when we follow his way of life in the beatitudes that we become the very thing he’s told us we are. We must choose his way over our own, and in doing so we are transformed and begin to transform the world around us.
Jesus: Man of Suffering
2/11/24
Jason Saglimbeni leads us to take a closer look at Jesus, the Man of Suffering. The greatest revelation of God is Jesus. The greatest revelation of Jesus is the cross. The suffering of Jesus reveals the depth of God’s desire to dwell with his people at all costs. Consider Jesus’ afflictions that you may know him, glorify him and become more like him, as you behold the Man of Suffering.
Salt and Light: Part 2
2/4/24
Larry Caddell continues to talk about salt and light. Jesus said that we are salt and light, yet that doesn’t automatically happen. It’s when we follow his way of life in the beatitudes that we become the very thing he’s told us we are. We must choose his way over our own, and in doing so we are transformed and begin to transform the world around us.
Crave Pure Spiritual Milk
1/28/24
Jason Saglimbeni talks about cultivating dependence on God and craving for God. We’re all called to grow into a full experience of salvation, so how does that happen? Allow God’s word to stir your desire for more of him and learn a sustainable rhythm that leads you to encounter Jesus and be transformed by his presence.
Salt and Light
1/21/24
Larry Caddell talks about followers of Jesus being salt and light. We are salt and light when we live out the teachings of Jesus. It’s an honor to live for Jesus and partner with him to bring glory to him by revealing Jesus to others.
Be Filled with the Spirit: Get Hungry
1/14/24
Jason Saglimbeni continues to talk about being filled with the Spirit. The Lord is restoring our vocal cords so that we may cry out to him once again. This is vital, because being filled with the Spirit is not automatic, yet we are promised that we will receive him if we ask, seek and knock. Are you willing to forsake the normal Christian life to pursue a life that is filled with the Spirit?
Be Filled with the Spirit
1/7/24
Jason Saglimbeni talks about being filled with the Spirit. This is not a biblical option, it’s a biblical necessity, regardless of where we’ve been or where we are. Being filled with the Spirit isn’t just a one time event, it’s a continual lifestyle that produces greater worship and transformation in us, effecting all we are and everything we do.
